Poochie Momma & the Purrrr Factory have both dogs and cats that are available through our adoption process. Please check back daily for updates!
You can open your home to a pet in need for short period of time. Fostering provides more room and allows us to take in more animals.
Caring for animals is time consuming and expensive. We gratefully accept all donations, both large and small. They help us continue the work of caring for these precious lives.
Poochie Momma got started working fashion in LA! She would drive home from downtown and out through the barrio. When she would see dogs dragging big chains, starving, or lonely, she would rescue them.
One of her more memorable dog rescues was after working a late shift. A coworker told her that her uncle was going to kill his dog. They decided to save the dog. When they found her she was only skin and bones. After bathing her 5 times to get the fleas out they named her Timber. She was an epic dog. It all started with Timber and she ended up living till she was 15
Poochie Momma needed a home for Timber so she bought a house. Fortunately because of the real estate market she ended up making a lot of money. That was back in 2000.
What sets Poochie Momma and the Purrrr Factory apart from other dog rescue places is that she is very hands-on. She is used to very hard-core dog rescue and even gave up her career to help sick dogs. You can count on Poochie Momma to be there to rescue dogs and to deliver quality dogs up for adoption. Call today for details: 310-922-4936
